The Vault

Every record the car ever earns, in one place, forever.

The Vault is the comprehensive record layer for every vehicle you own. Receipts, documents, mileage logs, project budgets, service history, and the running notes that make sense of it all. Nothing gets lost, nothing gets erased, and everything travels with the car to its next owner.

What it is

The permanent record.

The Vault is where the serious work of ownership happens. Every receipt from every parts order. Every document from every title transfer. Every mileage entry from every oil change. Every budget line from every restoration project.

It is built as an extension layer on top of the Garage — the Garage tracks your vehicles and their public story, the Vault keeps the private records that prove the story is true.

When it is time to sell, the Vault transfers with the vehicle. The next owner sees the full provenance: what was spent, what was fixed, what was replaced, and when. A documented car is a more valuable car, and the Vault is the documentation.

How the Vault works

What keeps the record trustworthy.

01

Records only get added, never erased

Every entry stays in the timeline. Correct a mistake with a new note and the original stays visible, so the history reads like a ledger rather than a draft.

02

The owner holds the keys

You decide what stays private and what the world sees. Export the whole record whenever you want, in a format the next owner can read without our help.

03

Proof beats claims

Photos, documents, and receipts sit next to the words. A Provenance Score rewards evidence, so a well-kept Vault speaks louder than a good story.

04

The record travels with the car

Sell the vehicle and the Vault goes with it. Sixty years of history moves in one handoff instead of a shoebox of fading paper.

Receipts & spend

Every purchase, every invoice, every parts order — logged with vendor, date, and cost. The Vault totals it all so you know the true cost of ownership.

Documents

Titles, insurance cards, inspection certificates, build sheets, and every piece of paper that proves what the car is and what was done to it. Filed, searchable, and never lost.

Mileage & service

Track every oil change, every tyre rotation, every long trip. Mileage logs tie to service records so the maintenance story is complete from day one.

Budgets & planning

Set project budgets, log spend in real time, and see what is left before you buy the next part. The planner works inside the Vault so the numbers stay with the car.

Notes & timeline

A running timeline of observations, decisions, and discoveries. The kind of notes that make sense six months later when you need to remember why you chose one part over another.
